About ItemTools

Seller research tools are hard to compare from the outside. Almost every one promises to find winning products, most show sales numbers that look precise, and the differences only become clear after you have paid for a month and tried them on a real idea. We built ItemTools to give sellers a plain first view: what each tool does, which marketplace it covers and what to check before relying on it.

The site is for people deciding what to sell, such as a first-time Amazon seller, an Etsy shop owner adding a product line or a private-label brand planning its next launch. We keep descriptions short and factual, mark details we couldn't confirm and leave out scores we would have to make up. Tool makers can submit or claim a listing for free, and paid placements are always labeled.

We also say where estimates stop being reliable, because that is where sellers most often lose money.

A tool is listed once we have confirmed that its official site is live and that it does what our description says. Each tool sits in the one category that fits its main job, even when it covers several. We don't publish scores, rankings or prices, because prices change often and a score would be our opinion presented as a fact. Tools we couldn't confirm stay off the site until we can.

Sales and revenue figures in these tools are estimates. No outside tool can see a marketplace's real sales data for products you don't own, so treat every number as a range and check it against more than one source before you order stock.
