ImportYeti lets you search US customs bill of lading records, which list the shipper and the consignee of ocean freight coming into the United States. Search for a brand or company and you can see which overseas factories ship to it, how often and what the shipments contain.

Private-label sellers use it to find manufacturers that already make a product for established brands, and to check whether a supplier on a B2B marketplace really ships the volumes it claims. It is also useful for checking a competitor's supply chain at a high level.

Records only cover sea shipments into the US, and some companies ask customs to keep their names confidential, so a missing result does not mean there are no shipments. Basic search is free.
